Rhea Graves (she/her) is a fierce advocate for her community. She has worked in homeless services, resident support, and is a master organizer! Rhea graduated Portland State University with a BA in Political Science and Gender and Sexuality Studies. She’s been active in the Black community assisting in resource development and allocation.
Rhea is a union organizer, community advocate, and educator using all of her lived experiences as an Afro-Indigenous, woman who grew up in Portland to fight for justice and liberation. She has been a member of the NAACP since high school where she helped found the Black Student Union and joined the Black Cultural Affairs Board. Her activism grew through college and into the workforce as Rhea helped establish equity work while remaining grounded in her community and rooted in her values.
Rhea loves to spend time with her family and close friends including her son. She joined UPRISE after being a long time supporter and member.
